At the start of the turn, players must announce their characters actions for that turn...for example
"John moves east 3 squares, and draws his weapon"
The movement counts as one action, and the drawing of the weapon counts as an action as well, so John has performed his two actions that turn! and must now see the results from a GM...for example.
"John moved east, but in his movement he activated a trip alarm! John draws his weapon"
This is followed by the GM updating the map to show John's location and the location of the new trip alarm.
Actions in combat follow a similar formula.
John - "Oh god, damn alarms!" (Talking counts as an action) John fires his weapon at the trip alarm.
The GM now calculates the combat action, by taking John's "Small Arms" skill (2) and rolls a D10...The GM rolls a 3, combined with John's "Small Arms" skill of 2 this adds up to 5, the minimum roll to hit a foe.
1-4 = Miss
5-8 = Hit
9-10 = Critical Hit
The GM then takes the power of John's weapon to the health of the trip alarm to see if it is destroyed...

So now the GM relays this back to the players
"John fires his weapon at the Trip Alarm and just hits it, the Trip Alarm explodes and the alarm is shut off!"
The map is then updated also to remove the trip alarm from the game room.
Actions are split into two groups, actions and half actions...half actions can be performed and only count as half, so can be done twice as much as normal actions.

Move
Run (Counts as two actions but player moves double distance)
Climb
Swim
Use Item (PDA, Petrol, Food ect)
Combine Item (counts as two actions, player must specify the items for combination and the item they want at the end...for example "John combines Petrol, C4 and Tape to create a homemade Bomb"
Interact (Devices, Locks, Doors, Corpses ect)
Look Around
Attack
Draw Weapon
Use Skill (Must specify which skill toward what, for example "John uses his Knowledge History skill to talk about the Royal Palace toilets")
Half Actions
Talk
Crouch or Go Prone and visa versa
Peer from cover
Activate device (C4 remote detanator, unlocked door panel ect)
Dive (Counts as half a move and going prone in one movement)
